A major fire in a district heating plant in Deutsch-Griffen was prevented in good time on Sunday evening. “A cable had blown. It was just an incipient fire that was quickly contained by the emergency services,” the fire brigade said.
The volunteer fire brigades Deutsch-Griffen, Glödnitz, Sirnitz and Weitensfeld were deployed. According to the police, there was property damage in an amount that is currently unknown. People were not harmed.
