In Gunsmith City – Bear “Bruno” helps children get to school

New calendar sensitizes children about road traffic. They are supported by a special mascot.

For about a year now, the elementary school students from Ferlach have been accompanied on their way to school by a special mascot. The little ones received a small reflective bear named “Bruno” from the city council and transport councilor Dominic Keuschnig. “This helps the children to be seen better, especially at dusk,” Keuschnig told the “Krone”. And for a few days now, the mascot has also been providing support in the classroom. “At the beginning of the year, every elementary school class received a calendar with valuable traffic tips,” explains the city councilor for traffic: “And these important tips come from ‘Bruno’.” The new calendar is intended to make elementary school students more aware of traffic safety.
