If we will have to wait for the traditional ceremony of December 17 in Châteauroux to discover the name of Miss France 2023, this Monday, the 30 contenders for the title flew to Guadeloupe for the traditional preparation trip. On the program: photos, interviews and lessons, not to mention the famous general knowledge test. They will be accompanied by Alexia Laroche-Joubert, the new president of the Miss France society, and Cindy Fabre, the new director of the society. Sylvie Tellier, who spent 17 years in the Miss France society, will also be present in Guadeloupe.

This year, some rules have also been revised to allow more women to enter the competition. First change: contenders for the title of Miss France can now wear tattoos. This year, only Miss Languedoc will have one. The age limit has also evolved: whereas until now, the competition stopped at 25 years old, now, women beyond this age can also present themselves. Finally, women who have children can also participate in the competition, which was not allowed before.
