In the Klagenfurt town hall, the next municipal council is now changing parties. Elias Molitschnig, formerly Grün, is now a new member of the “social democratic family”.
Only recently there was a castling in Klagenfurt, in which a Liberal and a municipal councilor from Team Carinthia swapped places, now it’s the Greens. The Green Municipal Council had been at odds with itself for a long time. “After years of working together, it is not at all easy for me to take this step. One feels and knows that a change has become necessary after the long period of cooperation and so I have decided to leave the Klagenfurt Greens and the Green Municipal Council Club,” says Molitschnig. The reason: he can no longer implement his visions for Klagenfurt with the Greens.
