US hotel giant Hilton is expanding in Klagenfurt. In the future, the global company wants to take over a traditional company and rebuild it extensively.
Huge surprise in the hotel industry: none other than the Hilton Group moves to Klagenfurt and takes over the “Salzamt” at the Landhaushof. The renovation is scheduled to begin next year. The facility is owned by the Lilihill Group, which wanted to set up a department store there. An attractive hotel is now being built. The American hotel chain is currently present in 104 countries around the world and operates 5,000 hotels. Lilihill has further plans. Lilihill previously secured the conversion rights to the travel agency near the Klagenfurt town hall. A first-class restaurant with a structure similar to that of the Hotel Moser Verdino is planned there.
