A drunken German began to riot in Mayrhofen. He also attacked his Belgian companion.
After the 36-year-old and the 23-year-old Belgian spent a day skiing together and consumed alcohol on Tuesday, the man punched the woman in the face after a disagreement on the main street in Mayrhofen early in the evening. She suffered minor injuries as a result. The 36-year-old then rioted in a shop and caused damage to property amounting to a three-digit euro amount. The German was finally stopped by the Mayrhofen police in a heavily intoxicated state. He is reported at large. Another incident A little later, between 10 p.m. and midnight, there was another incident in Mayrhofen. A previously unknown person damaged a porcelain flower pot and a bicycle in front of a residential building on Hauptstrasse. The perpetrator is said to have been a man with long brown hair.
