Elisabeth Borne made her political comeback on Saturday evening in Metz. The Prime Minister closed the working seminar for the executives of the new Renaissance presidential party. She also expressed herself, in particular on the hot issues of inflation and the energy crisis, before a return to school which promises to be tense.
The tone is combative. “We must not let energy prices explode,” said the Prime Minister, who also announced the creation of a green fund of 1.5 billion euros to support communities in the ecological transition. On energy consumption, she calls for sobriety. “But let’s be clear, we are not going to control the French at home,” she says.
