In Mittersill – officials randomly busted a drug plantation

The police actually drove to an apartment in Mittersill on Tuesday afternoon because a 32-year-old Croat is said to have seriously injured and coerced his 27-year-old wife. On site, however, the officials accidentally dug up a cannabis plantation.

When the police officers opened the apartment door, they noticed a strong smell of cannabis. A breeding station, cannabis herb and several narcotic paraphernalia were secured in the bedroom and in the storage room. The Croatian admitted to growing and selling narcotic drugs. With regard to the assault and the coercion, he only partially confessed. The man was arrested. The public prosecutor ordered his admission to the Salzburg prison.
