A dramatic traffic accident occurred in Mittersill on Tuesday evening. An 18-year-old was seriously injured.
The young lad was on the Gerlos Bundesstraße (B165) in Mittersill and got off the road for reasons that are still unknown. He then crashed his car into a tree – the vehicle then came to a standstill in a meadow. The force of the collision ejected the teenager from the car. He was given first aid by an emergency doctor and then flown to the Innsbruck hospital. Due to the serious injuries, no alcohol test could be carried out on him.
