Morocco wrote history by becoming the first African selection to enter the last four of a World Cup. Portugal were beaten 1-0.
This had never happened since the creation of this tournament in 1930. Scenes of jubilation were observed in the Arab world but also in European cities where supporters had gathered on Saturday December 10, 2022.
Morocco will play its place in the final against France on Wednesday, December 14, with whom relations are not in good shape at the moment.
