In Naples, scenes of popular jubilation after the historic victory of Napoli in Serie A
The Napoli supporters celebrated, until late at night from Thursday May 4 to Friday May 5, the first title of Italian champion for their team for thirty-three years and the titles won with Diego Maradona in 1987 and 1990. A match Draw against Udinese (1-1), in northern Italy, was enough to ensure Napoli’s first place in Serie A until the end of the season. Fans across the city celebrated their team’s historic victory with fireworks, chants and flares.
