In Palworld, a game whose success cannot be denied, they are initially designed to increase the chances of capturing Pals. But the statues of Ticureuil, or Lifmunk, seem to produce the opposite effect. The cause: a bug.
While on the Pocketpair side, the time is silent, on the Web, many Palworld players are denouncing this bug. One of them, Chalenor, even shared a long video in which he compares two similar situations in the game: with and without capture. The observation is clear with a capture rate which decreases significantly from 53 to 37%.
The bug: proof by video
And even if, according to Paul Tassi, journalist specializing in video games at Forbesthese figures do not constitute “ […] no margin for error “, a Reddit thread addressing the issue as described in Chalenor’s video lists many people reporting similar difficulties, such as MrAzorid:
“ This is consistent with my own experience. I am very annoyed by my low capture rate, even with more powerful spheres”.
Hypothesis and friendly advice
If this is a bug – although Pocketpair has not, at the time of writing, published either a press release or a patch – you will have understood, spend, even waste spheres on Pals will lead to a significant loss of resources in time and materials.
But it could also be a little coquetry on the part of the developers who make people believe in the superpower of the Ticureuil statues when this is not the case. From there to place them in the category of Trolls…
Anyway, the best would be for now
to avoid Ticureuils until Pocketpair officially clarifies the situation. Another solution to increase your capture rate is to craft better pals balls, or to freeze them or even electrocute them.
