Many passengers on line 4 of the Paris metro were stranded on Wednesday evening June 14, some for two hours, in crowded and overheated trains. On the many videos posted on social networks, we see hundreds of people jumping from a train and walking, in single file, in the tunnels of the metro.
“This incident is quite exceptional”, says Agnès Ogier, director of rail services at RATP. However, one year before the Paris Olympics, this new episode raises concerns.
