The famous manufacturer of supermarket trolleys Caddie hopes to find a buyer to face its difficulties after its declaration of suspension of payment, said its CEO Stéphane Dedieu on Tuesday.

“To date, there is no one who has come forward, but we are just at the very beginning of the procedure and for me it is obvious that a beautiful house like Caddy will inevitably attract an industrialist,” he said. he stated on RMC.

The company based in Dettwiller, Alsace, declared itself insolvent on Monday due to an accumulation of difficulties which have exhausted its cash flow. A hearing is due to take place on Tuesday morning before the commercial chamber of the judicial court of Saverne (Bas-Rhin) to determine the conditions for his bankruptcy.

A simple “pass” for Stéphane Dedieu, who claims to have reorganized the industrialization process and to have “a lot of arguments to be able to continue with a new buyer”.
