In the Alpine Road – drive with a joint, but without a driver’s license

After smoking a joint, a North Macedonian driver (26) was on the road on Tuesday afternoon. A police patrol stopped the conspicuous driving man in the municipality of Grödig. In addition to the positive drug test, the control showed that he did not have a driver’s license.

The police officers were actually traveling in the opposite direction on the Alpenstrasse, but turned their patrol car around because the driver on the opposite side looked suspicious to them. At the subsequent traffic control in Grödig, the 26-year-old North Macedonian stated that he did not have a driver’s license. An alcohol test was negative, but the following drug test showed a positive THC value.

The North Macedonian confessed to having smoked a joint before the trip. The police forbade the journey and filed a complaint.
