Having a newborn at home can seriously disrupt a couple’s libido. But that’s not the case for model Ashley Graham and her hubby, who even shared her tips for keeping the flame burning.
Sex may seem like the last thing moms care about after pregnancy. And when it finally does, it can be a very daunting moment. That’s not the case for model Ashley Graham, who told the magazine People that she was not afraid to sleep with her husband Justin Ervin again. “A lot of women have asked me, ‘Are you afraid to have sex again?’ Not at all, because I know that my vagina was made for having a baby and pushing it, and I knew it was going to be back to normal right away”.
Ashley Graham, who welcomed son Isaac a year ago, said she and her husband had to be creative in finding time to love each other. The young woman said in an interview with Cosmopolitan that she didn’t mind making love next to her child: “When you have a newborn, he usually sleeps for a few hours, so we put him in the crib across the room and we get going.”
Ashley Graham: “You have to talk about sex during pregnancy”
For Ashley Graham, sex and pregnancy are not incompatible. For her, it is absolutely essential to talk about sex when you are pregnant : “Because there’s this huge bump that can be sore if you lay on it or change your position. I asked each of my friends who had babies or are pregnant: ‘WhyWhich positions do you choose? This must be a normal conversation between mothers”she explained in an interview for vogue.
