While she has already revealed that shooting her famous sextape was one of the worst mistakes of her life, Kim Kardashian has agreed to come back to this decisive step in her career. It’s in an interview with Los Angeles Times which the influencer said she likely wouldn’t have addressed the scandal publicly if it weren’t for her reality show: “I think the producers, loved it. And I enjoyed talking this side. I only did it for show. Sometimes I tell myself that someone will surely ask me questions about this film, so I might as well take the lead and answer them first.”

This is the second time that Kim Kardashian has agreed to talk about this subject in public. The first time was during the very first episode of the series. When her big sister, Kourtney Kardashian, asked her why she shot the sex tape, the star simply replied: “Because I was excited and wanted to”which is surely the best reason to agree to shoot a sextape.

Kim Kardashian was only 27 years old when she filmed her sexual intercourse with singer Ray J. 14 years later, this moment in her life still haunts her. Although North’s mom doesn’t like talking about it, she recently admitted that talking about it helps her a lot: “Somehow filming our discussion (with his sister Kourtney) helped us manage things, instead of sweeping them under the rug. In the end, I was always open and honest and wanted to share everything I was going through. And I won’t hold back,” she explained during the first episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
