The members of the Building and Environmental Committee of the City Council of the City of Salzburg, chaired by Franz Wolf (VP), had to deal with six official reports at their last meeting of this term of office on Thursday in Mirabell Palace.
All six resolutions were passed unanimously. An overview: THR Hotelbetriebs- und Management GmbH receives civil law approval for a guest garden at Franz-Josef-Straße 1 by October 31st. The restaurant “Celtic Spirit” at Priesthausgasse 22 also receives this for the same period. The official report “ LED displays on state roads – cost sharing by the city of Salzburg” was forwarded to the city senate for a resolution. The canal will be renovated in parts of Schallmooser Hauptstrasse and Bayerhamerstrasse. The total gross costs of 660,000 euros are approved. The contract for the construction work, worth around 498,000 euros gross, will be awarded following a tender. If unforeseeable construction work is necessary, this amount can be increased to a maximum of around 555,000 euros gross. In the 2025 financial year, budget funds of around 79,000 euros net are earmarked for this purpose. After a tender, a bidder is commissioned to deliver a high-pressure flushing and suction vehicle for the sewer and water authority for a total price of 358,800 euros. After a tender, another bidder was commissioned to deliver a fire engine to the volunteer fire department of the city of Salzburg for a total price of around 493,000 euros.
