This week, as yet unknown perpetrators broke into the workshop of the Nostalgiebahnen Kärnten in St. Veit and burglars cleared out an empty house in Eisenkappel-Vellach.
The perpetrators are likely to have struck sometime between last Sunday and Friday. “Several machines and tools were stolen from the club workshop of the nostalgic railways,” reports the police. “According to previous investigations, the loot was carried out with a motor vehicle.” The investigations into this burglary are still ongoing – the damage amounts to several thousand euros. Emergency power generator stolen from house In the period of the last two weeks, burglars cleared out an empty house in the municipality of Eisenkappel-Vellach . “The perpetrators stole an emergency generator, drinking glasses and hunting trophies and bed linen from an adjoining room,” said the police. “The burglary caused damage amounting to several thousand euros.”
