In eight episodes of 45 minutes each, the series delves into the many challenges of racing, and brings together the testimonies of riders and team managers, sometimes as close as possible to the intimacy of the athletes. The series thus follows eight of the 22 teams involved: AG2R Citroën Team, Alpecin-Fenix, EF Education-EasyPost, Groupama-FDJ Cycling Team, Ineos Grenadiers, BORA-hansgrohe, Team Jumbo-Visma and Team Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl. Note the absence of Tadej Pogačar, second in the 2022 round, among the speakers.

Centered on the heroic struggles and the intimate struggles of the runners, the series is equipped as expected with a gripping montage and a formidable soundtrack, accompanied by magnificent images from France Télévisions. The series is co-produced by Amaury Sport Organisation, historic organizer of the Tour de France, France Télévisions and Box to Box Films, already at work on Formula 1: Drivers of their destiny And break point.

Filming for this first season took place from March to July 2022, during the 109th edition of the Tour de France. Season 2 of the series, dedicated to the 2023 edition, is currently filming and will be released next year.
