In the Karawanken in St. Jakob im Rosental, a frightened man is said to have heard several wolves on Monday evening. The man then immediately called the police. “We are of course looking into the matter,” says the Carinthia State Police Directorate: “But it is quite possible that they were dogs.” The Villach mountain rescue service also responded because: “The howling came from alpine terrain,” said the police towards the “Krone”.
