Let’s stop thinking that the monodiet represents a danger to health!

For the record, last week when I allowed myself a few days of rest in the region where I was born, I was challenged by a young reader who was trying to understand the truth. The catch? She only argued with slogans that had entered the collective unconscious. “Why the hell go on a monodiet? ”, she told me …
Unfortunately not having come across an original, I already knew the following verse! So she naturally followed up on the fact that eating apples for 3 days was dangerous for health, and that our body was not made for that, that it caused deficiencies… I obviously could not let that be said!

Why go on a monodiet?

On a daily basis, our body is subjected to a certain number of attacks which can be of environmental origin (pollution, food additives, etc.) or behavioral (tobacco, alcohol, food). Although it is able to process and evacuate a large part of it via our purifying organs such as the liver, kidneys, lungs, intestines or even the skin, it may not be enough.
The toxins not evacuated then become a real danger for our homeostasis (internal biochemical balance), that is to say the good maintenance of the integrity of the organism. Indeed, they could be at the origin of multiple more or less violent dysfunctions. Unless we live as a hermit on top of a mountain, we are all concerned!

Our diets have changed more in the past 70 years than in the previous 5 million years. 80% of our food is now of industrial origin, these are the figures, take note!
Our exposure to preservatives, texturizers, emulsifiers, colorants, sweeteners etc. unfortunately turns out to be partly the cause of the explosion of all inflammatory diseases since the post-war period.

The solution, in order to limit the damage, therefore lies in the fact of detoxifying your body. via a monodiet, to get rid of all these accumulated toxins. These toxins that our DNA is not programmed for.

How to do a monodiet?

The principle of monodiet is therefore based on the consumption of one and the same food for 3 days.

The apple diet
I recommend to use the apple, because it has many virtues and is in particular an excellent antibacterial and intestinal antiseptic.
The cells of the intestinal lining take 3 to 5 days to renew themselves completely. By receiving only one food – which is more non-toxic – the intestine will be able to restore itself and eliminate the disturbing elements that weaken it.

  • 1st day : eat 2 to 3 apples per meal.
  • 2nd day : in the morning, take a sachet of magnesium sulfate (or chloride); this in order to completely empty your intestines and toxins. This day will be the most difficult. Indeed, the re-circulation of toxins can cause headaches and nausea. The body reacts positively and eliminates, courage!
  • 3rd day : the easiest ! The body is finally used to it, the hunger is much less present, and we already feel much better.

And after these 3 days?

You will resume a normal diet gradually, so as not to upset the body too much.
It will be a question of keeping the positive effects of these 3 days: give pride of place to fruits and vegetables, and avoid refined sugars snacks and pastries.
Wait 3 days after the monodiet before consuming animal proteins.

What should you watch out for?

  • POINT TOO FALSE: If the monodiet has certain health benefits and is a perfect way to restore the body, I recommend do not do more than 3 to 4 per year maximum, at each change of season. Further, it could weaken the immune system and could leave the door wide open to pathogens.
  • BE FOLLOWED: As part of a first monodiet, it is preferable to‘to be framed and D’avoid any physical activity intense.
  • DRINK: Pay particular attention to your hydration during these 3 days. Drink water regularly (1.5 to 2 liters per day)
  • PREVENT: In the event of specific pathologies or medical treatments, theadvice from your doctor will be essential!
