April 19 (Reuters) – The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed higher on Tuesday as investors now focus on the new season of quarterly corporate earnings which will begin this week.
The Nikkei gained 0.69% to 26,985.09 points and the broader Topix gained 0.84% to 1,895.91 points.
