In Upper Austria – demo organizer accused of Holocaust denial

The public prosecutor’s office in Linz has brought charges against an organizer of Coronademos under the Prohibition Act. He is accused of trivializing the Holocaust, because he is said to have compared the exit restrictions and compulsory vaccination with the persecution of the Jews on Telegram and in a YouTube video.

In March, the man had already been sentenced to one year of part-time imprisonment for defamation, false testimony, slander, insult and falsification of evidence. Among other things, the activist is said to have harassed officials, accused of various misconduct and submitted fake mask exemption certificates to the district authority and the state administrative court, the Volksblatt reported in its Thursday edition.
