In various products – Salzburg Milk further reduces sugar content

The preventive medicine institute SIPCAN has set an upper limit of 10.5 g of sugar per 100 ml/mg for 2027. This is a reason for Salzburg Milch to adapt its own product range accordingly.

The company announced on Tuesday that all fruit and drinking yoghurts, fruit whey, and chocolate and vanilla milk already contain less than the maximum amount announced by SPICAN for 2027. Where this is not yet the case, work will continue on implementation. The result of less sugar was achieved in the past by continuously adapting the recipes. The sugar content of many products could be reduced and the valued taste preserved without using sugar substitutes.
