Since the transition to Warzone Pacific, users have been so busy getting to grips with the new weapons and features that some small details may have been overlooked. But since May, players have noticed the “strange” configuration of Caldera’s toilets and a debate has quickly arisen.
If you’re getting into Caldera for the very first time, there are plenty of different features that might catch your eye. Whether it’s the dizzying array of weapons or the POIs based on real Pacific locations.
Probably, the last thing you might pay attention to is Caldera’s restroom layout. But, players noticed it and it led to one of the weirdest debates since the game launched.

Communal toilets in Warzone
He’s the player u/thepestilence who shared a screenshot in the official Warzone subreddit. Thus launching the discussion. He was taken aback by the fact that the toilets at Caldera were all lined up, with no stalls to protect the modesty of those using them.
Shocked by the lack of privacy, the poster asked: “So people used to shit together or else?”. Even players who claimed to have Air Force experience said they had at least “walls”, corn “No door”.
Fortunately, some knowledgeable users were able to clarify the situation.
It turns out that a layout like this is standard practice at army boot camps. “When you’re in a training camp, there are no walls separating the toilets. You do your business in front of everyone.”
From other comments, this setup was relatively familiar outside of the armed forces in the past.
