In which corner of France will the ministers spend their vacation this summer? : Current Woman The MAG

Vacation time has finally come for members of the government! Hopefully the 3 weeks and a few days between the last Council of Ministers and that of the start of the school year on August 24, 2020 will be profitable for them … The Parisian unveiled Monday, July 20, 2020 where French politicians have decided to leave for a breath. And there are several schools: those who go to air in the mountains, like Bruno Le Maire, Emmanuelle Wargon or Florence Parly, in the Alps … and those who will take up their quarters by the sea, such as Frédérique Vidal and Eric Dupond-Moretti who will enjoy the beauties of the Nice region, a priori separately however! Corsica also has its share of followers : Marlène Schiappa will find her ties there, and who knows, maybe her path will cross those of Franck Riester or spokesperson Gabriel Attal. The head of state himself plans to take a family break at Fort of Brégançon, although some of its foreign counterparts are expected there for protocol visits …

A zealous Minister of the Interior …

On the other hand, a definitely studious vacation awaits Gérald Darmanin. The new Minister of the Interior will likely have a lot to do with the vagaries of the summer: drownings, road accidents … he will only allow himself a long weekend, no question of leaving far from Place Beauvau for three weeks!

The only exceptions… for family reasons

Only Annick Girardin and Jean-Yves le Drian will cross the border : one to go to Saint Pierre et Miquelon (French overseas territory), where she is from, the second for a short getaway in Spain before repatriating to the lands of Morbihan. For a majority of ministers, therefore, this is not the year to fly thousands of kilometers away: in addition to busy news, our country's economy must be supported, and the government really makes a point of setting an example. This does not seem to constitute a huge sacrifice, as explained by Barbara Pompili, newly appointed head of the Ecological Transition: everyone will be able to take advantage to recharge their batteries in our beautiful country, thanks to their "magnificent natural heritage".
