A large police operation has been underway near the public swimming pool in Zofingen AG since 5:30 p.m.
A man injured several people. He was able to be overpowered, the Aargau police reported on X. A suspected person was arrested shortly after 6:30 p.m.
The Argus special unit, ambulances and a helicopter are in action.
The Aargau cantonal police went on a large-scale operation later on Wednesday afternoon because of a man who injured several people in Zofingen. The situation was under control around 6 p.m. The man was able to be overpowered, the cantonal police said on X.
However, the police asked the population to avoid the region around the Zofingen and Trinermatte education center and to lock windows and doors.
