Indian broadcaster NDTV is calling on VCPL to join the Income Tax Department’s request for the shares.

NDTV said in a statement that its shares held by parent company RRPRH were provisionally seized by tax authorities in 2017.

NDTV and Adani Group have clashed in public after the group, headed by India’s richest man, Gautam Adani, last week unveiled plans to control a majority stake in the news network.
