It’s a day of celebration for Indy fans. Lucasfilm took advantage of the opening of the Star Wars Celebration taking place in London from April 7 to 10 to unveil a new trailer forIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. A bunch of exciting new images that say (a little) more about the plot which seems to mix space racing, the fight against the Nazis and time travel.

The end of the franchise?

This new 2 minute and 8 second video features a pre-retired Harrison Ford, who embarks on a new adventure against the Nazis and against the fearsome Jurgen Völler, played by a Mads Mikkelsen in round glasses. The multiverse and other travels in time and space being in fashion, it seems that the viewer will follow an Indy with fragile knees in 1969, but also its version rejuvenated by special effects. We imagine that the famous dial of destiny will play a crucial role in this mixture of eras, corroborating a little more the theory published by Digital.

  • Watch the new Indy 5 trailer:

Alongside the indestructible Harrison Ford and Mads Mikkelsen, we also find Phoebe Waller-Bridges (flea bag), Boyd Holbrook (Logan) as well as Antonio Banderas, Toby Jones and veteran John Rhys-Davies, the friendly Sallah from the very first film from 1981. In addition to the new trailer, Lucasfilm has unveiled a magnificent poster that takes up the codes of the original saga , to discover below.

Recall that this new opus — the last? — is directed by James Mangold (Logan, Copland, Le Mans 66). It is also produced by the original creators of the saga: George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will arrive in French theaters on June 28, 2023, but the film will premiere on May 18 as part of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.

Where can I watch the Indiana Jones saga online?

All of the films can be seen on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform. If the four opuses (The Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Last Crusade, The cursed temple And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) are still available on Amazon’s service, they should eventually migrate to Disney+, which owns all Lucasfilm programs.
