While the release of the last part of the Indiana Jones adventures is imminent, M6 is rebroadcasting “The Last Crusade” this evening. The opportunity to offer you a quiz for experts on the third film in the saga, with 10 very specific questions!
Like any good self-respecting adventurer, our dear Indiana Jones, certainly the most famous among them, is also an insatiable explorer, who has traveled the globe from east to west and from north to south, having had the opportunity to visit many countries during his various adventures and his four films.
From the very first sequence of the first part, Raiders of the Lost Ark, we find Indy in the depths of the Peruvian jungle trying to get his hands on a Chachapoyan idol. Barely returned to the United States, he left immediately for Egypt to try to prevent the Nazis from getting their hands on the Ark of the Covenant, not without having made a short detour to Nepal where he met his former Marion love.
In the following film, The Temple of Doom (which takes place chronologically before the events of the first film), we find our hero in a club in Shanghai, the aptly named Club Obi-Wan. The rest of the film then takes place in India where he will have to face the terrible priest Mola Ram, and try to recover the five sacred stones.
In the third part, Indiana seems to be really on the move with no less than five different countries visited, starting with Portugal at the start of the film, then in its quest for the Holy Grail, Italy, Austria, Germany (the time to have a book signed by Hitler), and finally at Hatay in Turkey (even if the famous monument which serves as the setting for the final scene is actually located in the magnificent city of Petra in Jordan).
We will not mention the fourth film here, so as not to offend the most ardent fans of Indiana Jones, who refuse to see The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull be integrated into the saga. It remains to be seen where the adventures of the famous archaeologist-adventurer will take us in a few weeks with Le Cadran de la Destinée.
