Aldi currently has a particularly interesting offer for cars. It’s about the annoying topic of the vehicle not starting. What to do? Jumper cables? There is hardly anyone in the car and you need the help of other drivers.

The solution is a battery jump starter that starts the car – at least if the battery is not completely dead. Such starting aids are available in various designs; the typical price in the hardware store is in the range of 70 to 80 euros.

Several practical functions

Aldi offers such a device from the company Yard Force. The jump starter also has an integrated flashlight, an emergency light and work light as well as a power bank function. You could use this to charge your cell phone etc. The battery capacity is 12,000 milliamp hours. Aldi incorrectly states the value as 1,200 mAh.

The device is suitable for 5 liter petrol and 4 liter diesel engines. It can be charged via a classic cell phone power supply or via the 12-volt connection in the car. Overall, Aldi’s jump starter is well positioned and, above all, attractively priced due to its many functions.
