The most beautiful games for indoors

"Who am I?"

  • This game requires at least two people and is suitable for children who can already read and write well.
  • All you need is post-its and a pen.
  • Each child comes up with a character for another and writes it on a post-it: These can be people, superheroes, fairy tale characters, animals, etc.
  • Then the Post-it is stuck to the neighbour's forehead – without the latter seeing the note.
  • Afterwards, each child has to try to guess his own figure on the forehead with yes and no questions. If the question asked was answered with "yes", the child may continue. However, if the answer is no, it is the next child's turn.
  • The game ends as soon as all the children have guessed what character they are.

silent post

  • Stille Post is probably the classic among children's games, but is only really fun when there are four or more players.
  • For this, the children sit in a row. The first child comes up with a word or phrase and whispers it to his neighbor. This is how the series works.
  • The last of the series speaks the word or the sentence out loud: The result will definitely make the kids laugh!

"I can see what you can not see!"

  • This game is great both indoors and outdoors and can keep the kids busy for a while.
  • One of the children begins and looks for an object that describes it with a characteristic, for example: "I see something that you don't see, and that's blue".
  • Then each player makes a guess.
  • If the item has not yet been guessed, another property will be added in the next round and further guesswork will be made by all players.
  • So many rounds are played until the item is guessed.
  • The next child then chooses an item to guess.

Professions advise

  • This game is suitable for small children and promotes creativity.
  • Each child alternately represents a profession: pantomime or noises can be used for this. In the meantime, the other children try to guess the job.
  • Whoever is the first to solve the puzzle has won and may represent the next profession.
  • Tip: This game can also be played as "guess instruments".

I am packing my suitcase

  • This game requires a good memory, because if you can remember things well, you win here!
  • The first child begins and says: "I'll pack my suitcase and take … with me" and insert an object.
  • The next child in the row continues: it repeats the item and adds a new one.
  • This is how the series goes about until the first player can no longer repeat all the items: he is eliminated and the next player must continue.
  • At the end, the child remains who can remember most objects.
