industrial production fell by 0.2% over one month in December

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Industrial production in France fell by 0.2% over one month in December, after a decline of 0.5% in November, the National Institute of Statistics and Statistics announced on Friday. economic studies (INSEE).

Manufacturing production alone increased by 0.1% over one month in December, after a drop of 0.6% in November, due in particular to the rebound in the manufacture of transport equipment (+11.3% in December after – 4.6% in November), detailed Insee.

Compared to February 2020, the last full month before the start of the first confinement in France, industrial production fell by 5.3% in December and manufacturing production fell by 5.9%, said INSEE.
