INES VANDAMME: 100% unpublished images. This is the strength of this program: no recycling! For each show, we look for the most surprising and funniest sequences. Social networks are a gold mine: there are real nuggets.
What is your initial assessment of your participation in Dance with the stars This year ?
On each show, I said to myself, with Florent Peyre “We’re still here!” We had no objective. I am lucky to have been with him. He’s a nice boy, hardworking and with great values.
You recently panicked the networks for dancing in heels. Are you sensitive to critics who say you are doing too much?
I danced in heels! Incredible… What audacity! (Laughs.) Anyway, as soon as you do something, you get criticized… I also get so many nice messages that I don’t worry about the low percentage of negative reviews. I am as I am, I will not change!
Have you kept in touch with Ladji Doucouré, your partner in your first season of DALS, in 2019?
It has become my best friend! I almost forgot that we met on a television set. We had reached the final and we couldn’t believe it!
On the other hand, your very first appearance on television dates back to NRJ Music Awards in 2010, alongside Shakira. What memory do you keep?
I am 18 years old. Shakira was simple, it went towards us who were young dancers. It was really great !
In a few days, you will find Chris Marques for the tour of his show Then we dance ?*. Why such loyalty to him?
I met him in 2011, he was artistic director of some artists in NRJ Music Awards. And we never left each other. I like his work, his way of approaching dance.
It seems that you are a good cook… What pleasure do you find in cooking?
When I’m working hard, I like to go home and resume “a normal life.” I like to receive and share. I love, for example, making French toast, madeleines, savory pies. For the great pleasure of my lover (the model Gael Laudet,editor’s note) who, when he comes home in the evening, often says to me: “Thank you, my love!”
*Then we dance ? in Lille on 3 December, 6 in Montpellier, 10 in Colmar, 11 in Paris, 13 in Rouen…
