With the Pixel 6a, Google will probably rely on the existing design of the Pixel 6 (Pro) with a distinctive camera visor. This is indicated by a product packaging for the cheap Google cell phone that has just surfaced. A few details about the equipment are already known.
Pixel 6a: Google phone packaging revealed
As with previous smartphones, Google will not refrain from bringing a cheaper A variant onto the market with the Pixel 6 series. The existence of the Pixel 6a is no longer a secret after the phone appeared in a Google coloring book. Now a leaker has that Photo of a packaging published that supposedly shows the Pixel 6a (source: Techxine).
If the picture is true, then the appearance of the upcoming Pixel cell phone is not expected to be revolutionary. Google will therefore at the Capture the design language of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro – which is no surprise. Even with future cell phones in the Pixel 7 series, Google should continue to rely on the somewhat special look.
Even with the Pixel 6a, it can be assumed that the Camera visor on the back is back in the game. As with the Pixel 6, there should be two cameras here. However, Google should do without the laser autofocus. The back itself could be made of glass, although this cannot be determined with certainty based on the photo alone.
The Google processor Tensor should also be included in the Pixel 6a. According to benchmark results it is already clear that 6 GB of RAM will be used in the mobile phone. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, have 8 GB.
