Jordan Bardella also detailed the proposals of his political family to deal with rising prices: “We offer a basket of 100 basic necessities, available in all supermarkets, all shops at 0% VAT”.
The president of the National Rally has also positioned himself in favor of lowering taxes, especially on gasoline. “We are proposing to lower VAT from 20% to 5.5% on all energy because it has become an anxiety for millions of French people,” he said.
Jordan Bardella also pleads for “controlling energy prices”: “In Essonne, there is a school that is closing because the town hall’s electricity bill has increased fivefold.
