After 11 seasons of good and loyal service, Denitsa Ikonomova will not resume her place as a juror in the 12th season of Dancing with the stars. At the origin of this departure, a particularly juicy contract that she could not have refused.

The news fell on July 23. On her Instagram account, Denitsa Ikonomova, emblematic dancer of the show Dance with the stars, announced that she would not return for a twelfth season. “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm that unfortunately I will not be part of season 12 of Dancing with the stars.she wrote. This show changed my life and I am very grateful to the entire production of TF1 for giving me the chance to show what I was capable of. I blossomed for 8 wonderful seasons as a dancer, coach and choreographer with 8 incredible people. So many great encounters including the one with YOU the public.”

Officially, the one who won the show alongside Rayane Bensetti, Loïc Nottet, Laurent Maistret and Clément Rémiens said she wanted to devote herself to her personal life. But the reason for his break with BBC Studios France and TF1 Production would in fact be quite different. In its latest issue, available on newsstands this Friday, August 22, Closer reveals that Denitsa would have signed a six-figure contract with another production company: Endemol. She is preparing to become the dance teacher of the future Star Academy.
