In an internal document that Europe 1 has obtained, Éric Zemmour’s party is pleased to have appointed a manager per department, in mainland France and overseas. Among the new delegates, few profiles known nationally, but a few local figures, such as the mayor of Cogolin, Marc-Étienne Lansade.
Being present everywhere in France was the objective set by Éric Zemmour for his troops last September. Nine months later, the party distributed this week to its members the list of its 102 departmental delegates. 76 men, 26 women, appointed as so many party ambassadors in the territories. It was Vice-President Nicolas Bay who was responsible for renewing the workforce. 68 new delegates thus came to replace the posts left vacant since the last presidential election. Each candidate followed an interview, physical or by videoconference, before being appointed.
Among the new delegates, few profiles known nationally but a few local figures, such as the mayor of Cogolin, Marc-Étienne Lansade. The former member of the National Rally is thus appointed delegate in the Var, department where Éric Zemmour had presented himself during the last legislative elections.
Profiles from the right … or never yet engaged in politics
Reconquest! also determined the political origin of its departmental leaders. According to the party, 27 are from the Republicans, 22 from the National Rally, three from Debout la France, the party of Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, but above all 48 who are taking their first steps in politics.
“It’s fairly representative of our members and our voters,” analyzes Nicolas Bay. “All come from the right, but many were not involved before. They were seduced by the speech of Eric Zemmour, who restores his letters of nobility to politics by carrying a global vision, without locking himself into debates techniques”. The 102 departmental delegates and 12 regional delegates will have the opportunity to meet at the Fête de la Violette organized by the party on June 24 in Sologne, or at the summer universities, scheduled for September 10.
