A meeting with Zelensky on the program?

The program for this trip is still being prepared. A meeting between the French delegation and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could take place. “The purpose of this trip is clear: to provide our support and to show our solidarity with the Ukrainian people”, explains a member of the delegation.

This trip comes on the eve of the resumption of work in the National Assembly. On Monday, October 3, for the return of deputies to the hemicycle, the government will make a declaration relating to the war in Ukraine, followed by a debate, in application of article 50-1 of the Constitution.
