14 general practitioners, official doctors and paediatricians provided information on the corona vaccines on Saturday as part of the first “DOC-Line” campaign in the state of Tyrol. The more than 250 calls were a “successful start” and confirmed, according to Health Minister Annette Leja (ÖVP) on Sunday in a broadcast, the still great need to “remove worries and concerns through medical facts”.
Most of the callers had questions about the third vaccination, vaccination during pregnancy or chronic diseases or allergies, and vaccination of children. According to the state, the experts could have answered many of these questions on Saturday. Next Saturday (January 22) there will be another opportunity to discuss open questions with doctors via the “DOC-Line” (telephone 0800 70 00 70 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.).
