Injured fawn hunting dog adopted a young roebuck

The roebuck, only six weeks old, was found injured in a garden in Pubersdorf on Sunday. The police had turned to hunter Christoph Zechner, who is well versed in raising deer. “I’ve raised some deer and then released them into the wild. Sometimes a doe even comes to visit me, ”reports the expert. By the way, the members of the Poggersdorf Hunting Society were able to save twelve fawns from mowing this year. Zechner then immediately took the little roebuck to vet Maria Führer, who took care of the injuries. Then we went home, where the boy was immediately adopted by the Bavarian mountain sweat dog Anika vom Schwingerboden. She doesn’t let the little one out of her sight, who was lovingly baptized Rudi.
