We’ve been hearing about a multiplayer game in the works for a while now. Insomniac Games, in addition to the multiple Marvel projects that are underway within the studio. And precisely, we wondered if this new game was also associated with the House of Ideas, or if it could potentially mean the return of an old franchise, like Resistance. Obviously, none of this, since a job offer specifies that it will indeed be a new license.
A new multiplayer-oriented license?
As GamesRadar relays, a new job posting mentions that Insomniac Games is looking for an Art Director whose role will be to work on “ art direction in a multiplayer environment “. In this same announcement, we can see that the person who will be chosen for this job will also have to assist in pre-production planning and development of new licenses with creative directors “.
If we rely on this discovery, the studio’s multiplayer project would therefore be based on a new license, contrary to what some rumors indicated. Given that Insomniac Games is still in full recruitment, we imagine that we will not see the color for several years, but we hope to have some additional clues about this project in the coming months.
