Inspired by action-RPGs of the 90s, Last Moon makes the presentations

As artist and designer Vincent Metallo explains, he and his two main collaborators (composer/sound designer Jérôme Mathis and narrative designer Nicolas Eskenazi) all have a professional activity alongside the project. The goal, however, is to really focus on producing lastmoon from June, aiming for a release at the end of 2023/beginning of 2024.

Action-RPG inspired by the classics of the 90s, lastmoon obviously reminiscent of titles like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Secret of Mana. Already artistically cared for, the game is inspired by the legends of Nordic mythology and in particular Sköll and Hati, the wolves who on the day of Ragnarök will eat the moon and the sun. Of a nature to please everyone, lastmoon aims to find a balance between nostalgia and modernity, between accessibility and technique.

Mechanically, each weapon will have its own mastery level which will increase with the slightest hit against an enemy. To unlock the skills of each weapon class, the Lunar Knight that you embody will therefore have an interest in touching a little bit of everything. By digging well, you can also get your hands on around thirty ancient runes and thus acquire special abilities and other effects. More than 50 monsters, side quests, villagers to help or even a day/night cycle are on the program.

Guaranteed to be released on Steam, lastmoon Also aiming for release on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch consoles.
