Nearly 9,500 on the French version of the service and more than 21,000 on the American side.
Application crash while reading stories
At the time of the failure, we could observe a crash of the mobile application. This manifested itself when reading the stories of his contacts: once the first ones were viewed, Instagram closed without warning. There were also other symptoms that were reported by Internet users, such as navigation within the application.
Instagram’s official Twitter accounts did not initially react to this service interruption, which seems to have been resolved – reports on Down Detector have been falling since 7 p.m., after a peak at the end of the afternoon.
