  • The Reels section on Instagram is getting a new filter.
  • The “Followed” filter only shows the Reels of the people you follow.
  • The Instagram Reels are 15-second videos that can be edited with sound, effects and creative tools.

Instagram is one of the most used social networks worldwide. You can upload pictures and videos here and share them with your followers. In addition to photos, Reels are also becoming increasingly popular on the platform. Launched by Instagram in 2020, Reels allows you to record 15-second video clips and edit them with sound, effects and creative tools.

In order not to lose track of the huge selection of content, the Reels area has been expanded to include a new feature. So far, you’ve always seen a mix of recommended videos from people around the world as well as accounts you follow on Instagram.

Only see Reels from people you follow

Now Instagram has released a “Followed” filter so you can decide whether you only want to receive suggested videos from people you follow. To use the followed filter, go to the Reels tab at the bottom and click on “Reels”. Now you can choose between “Reels” and “Followed”.
