A new way to install Windows 11 on a non-compatible PC has been discovered. It does not require any complex manipulation since a simple click is enough to ignore the minimum configuration required by Microsoft.

When Windows 11 was announced, Microsoft tempers the enthusiasm of impatient users by revealing the minimum requirements to install the new version of its operating system. Among the requirements, the presence of a TPM chip in the processor leaves many people in the lurch, particularly owners of7th generation Intel Kaby Lake and D’AMD Ryzen 1000 series. The method was discovered by Bob Pony, accustomed to sharing his findings on Windows, and published on X (Twitter). Here, no script to run or command line to enter. To install Windows 11 on a computer that does not meet Microsoft’s hardware requirements, just one click. The whole trick lies in the choice of system version to install. When you need to select it, take Windows 11 IoT Enterprise. By doing this, the minimum system requirements are completely ignored and the process continues smoothly.

“Windows IoT Enterprise is a full-featured version of Windows Enterprise that provides enterprise manageability and security to IoT solutions“, we read on the Microsoft website. The main thing to remember, however, is that “Windows IoT Enterprise shares all the benefits of the global Windows ecosystem. This is a binary file equivalent to Windows Enterprise“. So you end up with a fully functional version, even for private use. Practical for giving a second lease of life to an old PC for example.
