Following Billy Crawford’s first performance on the floor of Dance with the Stars on Friday September 9, 2022, Télé Star decided to bring out photos of the singer from his archives dating from 2003, on the stage of the 8th Night of the Stars.
A real music star in the early 2000sBilly Crawford made the whole of France sing and dance with hits like: Trackin, When You Think About Me, You Didn’t Expect That and To do without you. The singer also made a lot of noise at that time, due to her high-profile relationship with the young French pop star Lorie Pester. If his career then ran out of steam in France, Billy Crawford met with success on the side of the Philippines, before making a remarkable return to France for participate in the new season of Dance with the stars on TF1.
Unlike many other participants, who did not know how to dance at all before joining the program, Billy Crawford has some experience in the field. Born on May 16, 1982 in Manila, he started playing small roles in films in the Philippines when he was only 3 years old. After moving to the United States, he became at only 14 years old one of the dancers of michael jackson during the MTV Video Music Awards 1995. In addition to his singing and dancing talents that everyone knows, Billy Crawford also knows how to act, given that he for example appeared in the film The Exorcist: at the sources of evil.
Billy Crawford: a successful conversion as a TV host
When his musical career began to falter in the late 2000s, Billy Crawford has started a successful transition to the small screen. In 2008, he signed a hosting contract with ABS CBN. On the private side, the singer married on April 20, 2018 on the island of Balesin, in the Philippines, with his companion Coleen García. The latter is a big star in the Philippines, in particular because of her talents as a TV host. Together the couple gave birth to a baby boy in 2020.
