While Denise Fabre will be celebrating her 80th birthday on Monday September 5, 2022, Télé Star has pulled out of her archives photos of the emblematic speaker of TF1 dating from 1987, when she revealed her cooking “tricks” in Télé Poche.
True legend of French television, Denise Fabré is best known for her work as an announcer on theORTF, then on TF1. It was near Nice, where she was born on September 5, 1942, that Denise Fabre began her television career, at the age of only 19. It’s on the antenna Monte Carlo TV, now renamed TMC, that viewers discovered Denise Fabre’s head on their screens for the first time. Afterwards, she went to Paris in 1963, to join the ranks of the 2nd chain of I’ORTF. In parallel, she presented the Sunday program TV Sunday on the first channel of theORTF.
Afterwards, Denise Fabre continued her career as an announcer on the first channel ofORTF until 1975, date of the dismantling of the company. She will become the same year one of the faces of TF1. The one who will celebrate her 80th birthday on Monday September 5, 2022 will continue to be one of the emblematic announcers of the channel until 1992. During all her years spent on the antenna of TF1, Denise Fabre had many memorable laughs, which are still regularly broadcast in the various bloopers today. However, the latter caused her to be laid off by the management of TF1 Many times.

In parallel with her career as an announcer, Denise Fabre has also exercised her talents as an on-air host, whether on television or radio.. She has presented shows like Rso be with us on saturday and Happy Saturday on TF1. After having embodied the morning of France Inter In the 60s, Denise Fabre was recruited on European 1 in 1976.
