On the occasion of the broadcast of the cult comedy Le Dîner de cons Sunday June 26, 2022 on TF1, Télé Star decided to bring out from its archives photos of Jacques Villeret on the set of the film Les frères Pétard in 1986.
Tragically passed away in 2005, the comedian Jacques Villeret left its mark on French cinema throughout his career. The viewers of TF1 will also have the opportunity to discover, or rediscover, one of his best performances as an actor on Sunday June 26, 2022. That evening, the first channel will broadcast a cult comedy in prime time: The dinner of fools. His performance in the emblematic role of François Pignon enabled him to win the Oscar for best actor in 1999. On this occasion, TV Star decided to bring out several shots of the actor from his archives on the set of the film titled The Petard brothersin which he gave the reply to Gérard Lanvin.
At the time, Jacques Villeret was about to realize one of his biggest dreams: shoot under the direction of the famous filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard. “The dream is over, it’s reality. My partner will be Rita Mitsoukou, who sings Marcia Baila. It will be about music in this film, and I think I would be a monster there“, had indicated the actor in the columns of TV Star in 1986.
